As part of Thai Tag 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Berlin and the Asia-Africa Institute at the University of Hamburg invite submissions for a special session on ‘Current research on Thailand’.

The session provides a platform for scholars and students based in Germany to present ongoing or recently completed research related to Thailand. It aims to highlight emerging scholarship and interdisciplinary perspectives while strengthening the academic network of Thai Studies in Germany.

Contributions from all academic disciplines are welcome, including but not limited to history, politics, economics, culture, language, religion, society, arts, media, environmental studies, and contemporary developments related to Thailand.
