Das "Visa on Arrival"-Programm ermöglicht Inhabern von Reisepässen aus den folgenden Ländern und Gebieten die Einreise nach Thailand, ohne ein Touristenvisum bei einer thailändischen Botschaft/einem thailändischen Konsulat in ihrem eigenen Land beantragen zu müssen.

Sie müssen jedoch bei der Immigration ein "Visa on Arrival" beantragen:

Einreise auf dem Luftweg: vor dem Passieren der Grenzkontrolle am Flughafen

• Einreise auf dem Landweg: Grenzkontrolle

• Einreise auf dem Seeweg: Hafen

The "Visa on Arrival" program allows passport holders from the following countries and territories to enter Thailand without having to apply for a tourist visa at a Thai Embassy/Consulate in their own country.

However, they must apply for a "Visa on Arrival" at the Immigration Office:

Entry by the air: before passing the border control at the airport

Entry by the land: border control

Entry by the sea: port

NEW!!! 30 DAYS VISA EXEMPTION FOR KAZAKHSTANI TOURISTS (1.3.2024 - 31.8.2024)

The Royal Thai Government Grants the Extension of Visa Exemption Scheme for Holders of ordinary passports of Kazakhstan from 1 March 2024 to 31 August 2024.

On 20 February 2024, the Cabinet of Thailand approved the extension of visa exemption scheme for holder of ordinary passports (or travel document holders) of Kazakhstan to enter and stay within the Kingdom of Thailand for a period not exceed 30 days. The scheme will be effective from 1 March 2024 to 31 August 2024.

The interim measure is in accordance with the government's policy to boost tourism, aiming to boost the overall economy and income of people at local level as well as to promote people-to-people cantacts between Thailand and Kazakhstan.

NEW!!! 30 DAYS VISA EXEMPTION FOR TOURISTS FROM INDIA AND TAIWAN (10.11.2023 - 10.5.2024)

The Royal Thai Government Grant Visa Exemption for Tourist from India and Taiwan from 10 November 2023 to 10 May 2024

On 31 October 2023, the Cabinet of Thailand approved the Visa Exemption scheme for holders of ordinary passports (or travel document holders) of India and Taiwan to enter and stay within the Kindom of Thailand for a period not exceeding 30 days. The scheme will be effective from 10 November 2023 to 10 May 2024.

The interim measure is in accordance with the government's policy to boost tourism, aim to facilitate tourists from India and Taiwan traveling to Thailand during the high season from November 2023. It is expected that in 2023, the numbers of tourists from India and Taiwan in Thailand will reach 1,500,000 and 700,000 respectively.

The Royal Thai Government Promotes Tourism with 90-day Tourist Visa Exemption Scheme for Russian Tourists starting from 1 November 2023 to 30 April 2024

On 16 October 2023, the Royal Thai Government has approved a unilateral and temporary tourist visa exemption scheme for holders of Russian passports or travel documents, entering the Kingdom of Thailand from 1 November 2023 to 30 April 2024, to be able to stay in Thailand for a period not exceeding 90 days. This temporary arrangement aims to facilitate Russian tourists travelling to Thailand and to enhance people-to-people ties between Thailand and Russia.
